Color Pet Products (“we,” “us,” “our”) makes handwoven collars, leashes, harnesses and travel accessories for pets. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit colorpet.com or place an order, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect only what we need to send you your order, and we don’t sell, rent or share it with anyone for marketing.

Information we collect

When you place an order, we collect the information needed to process and ship it: your name, shipping address, billing address, email address and phone number.

When you contact us by email, through our contact form, or through our wholesaler form, we receive whatever information you choose to include in that message.

If you create a customer account or a wholesale account, we store your name, email address and the shipping details you save to that account.

Our website, like nearly all websites, records basic technical information automatically, such as your browser type, device type and the pages you visit, through standard server logs. We use this only to keep the site running properly.

Payment information

We do not collect, see or store your full credit or debit card number. Payments are processed by our payment provider, which handles your card details directly under its own security standards and privacy policy. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with basic details such as the last four digits of the card and the billing name and address.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to process your order, to ship it to you, to respond to your questions, to handle returns or warranty claims, and to keep records required for tax and accounting purposes.

We do not use your information to build advertising profiles, and we do not run third-party advertising or tracking pixels on our site.

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

We do not share your information with data brokers, advertisers or marketing companies.

We do not add you to a mailing list simply because you placed an order. If we ever offer a newsletter, you will only receive it if you choose to sign up, and every message will include a link to unsubscribe.

Who we share information with

We share your information only with the service providers we need in order to complete your order, and only to the extent required to do so. These are:

Shipping carriers, so that your order can be delivered to you.

Our payment processor, so that your payment can be completed.

Our website hosting provider, which stores our site and order records on its servers.

We may also disclose information if we are legally required to do so, for example in response to a valid subpoena, court order or tax authority request.

Cookies

Our site uses cookies that are necessary for it to function, for example to remember what you’ve put in your shopping cart and to keep you logged into your account. These are set by WordPress and WooCommerce, the software our store runs on. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, but if you do, the shopping cart and account features may not work correctly.

How long we keep your information

We keep order records for as long as we are required to for tax, accounting and warranty purposes, generally at least several years. We keep contact form and email correspondence for as long as it’s useful for customer service.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@colorpet.com and we’ll take care of it. Please note that we may need to keep certain order records even after a deletion request, where the law requires us to.

If you have a customer account, you can log in at any time to view and update your saved details, or ask us to close the account.

Children

Our store is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be noted on the page itself.
